Paving pathways represents the journey our ancestors and elders had to go through to get us here. From females not being able to get a job to now having unlimited options is incredible, we forget the fact that we as women were once not accepted.
I have been blessed with countless female role models who showed me my own worth, and without them I may not have found selflove. So here’s a celebration to them and of our past female inspirers, the ones who pushed the limits, who where frowned upon and degraded, and who taught us not to give up even when many others are doubting.
I added footprint symbols to represent my culture as well as my female ancestors’ journey to gaining a voice and forcing us to be heard. The bright colours displaying a celebration of our connection as women and taking every chance we can to make an impact to the world.
