This piece is inspired by this year's NAIDOC week theme. It's about being in touch with our roots in mordern society. Spreading our culture to the next generation "Blak, loud and proud". No matter what shades of skin tone, or past you come from, we are the oldest living culture in the world. This piece shows our layers or roots connecting with the lands, ourseleves and our people. This symbolizing our generation's continueing to "Keep the fire burning" by following our dreams and putting an imprint on the world as proud Aboriginal peoples.
